Linda May Johnson, age 73, of Stromsburg, Nebraska passed away October 13, 2020 at Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Linda was born September 4, 1947 to Don and Doris (Clark) Freeman in Lincoln. She attended Lincoln schools and graduated from Lincoln High.
On December 16, 1965 she was united in marriage to Ronald Lee Johnson in Lincoln. To this union two children were born. The family lived in Lincoln until the early 90’s when they moved to Stromsburg. The family moved to Osceola for a short time before returning to Stromsburg. Linda was a machine operator at Metro Mail in Seward for many years. She has been a resident at Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg for the past few years.
She enjoyed reading, puzzles, family and especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Swede Home.
Survivors include her husband Ronald of Stromsburg; daughter Theresa Johnson of Stromsburg and son Shawn Johnson of Columbus; three grandchildren, Amanda Johnson of Lincoln, Ryan Johnson of Stromsburg and Jasmin Johnson of Fullerton; mother Doris Freeman of Lincoln; brothers Rick Freeman of Lincoln, Don Freeman of Lincoln and Troy Cave of Ohio; sister Jill Doeden of Lincoln; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Don Freeman, and one sister Leona Elsberry.
