Linda Marie (Eakle) Smith, 71, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 17th, 2020 in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Linda was born on March 16th, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Beatrice (Woolwine) Eakle and Harold Eakle Sr.
Linda was a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Along with creating memories with her loved ones, she enjoyed catching up with her friends on Facebook and baking her favorite recipes.
Linda is survived by her five children, Robbin (Steve) Smith, of Greenwood, Indiana, Vickie (Larry) Hatfield, Earl Smith, Richard (Martti) Smith, Christopher (Cheryl) Smith, all of Indianapolis, Indiana; her 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Michelle (Randy) Dorris, Vicki Eakle, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; her two brothers, Harold (Kimberley) Eakle Jr., Richard Eakle, both of Greenwood, Indiana; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her two sisters, Cheryl Baldock, Wendy Roach; her three great-grandchildren, Tylan Smith, Gabriel Smith, Kinsley Hogan.
