Linda Marie (Suarez) Ariano, 78, of Peru, passed away Sunday morning, June 9, 2019 in Peru, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Ariano was born September 6, 1940 in DePue to Joseph and Mary (Garcia) Suarez. She was a graduate of DePue High School. She married Francis Ariano on September 23, 1961 at St. Mary’s Church, DePue. Mrs. Ariano was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Peru.
She was employed as a service representative for the Social Security Administration for 26 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and attending her children and grandchildren’s events. Survivors include her husband, Francis; three children, Mark Ariano of LaSalle, Lynn (Bryan) Delvallee of Oglesby and Neil (Amy) Ariano of Geneseo; a daughter-in-law, Kay Ariano of Aurora; 10 grandchildren, Lauren Delvallee, Abby (Trevor) Cravatta, Quinn Delvallee and Benjamin, Maxwell, Ky, Leah, Kade, Kamden and Keaton Ariano; one brother, Gene (Shirley) Suarez of Rock Island; two sisters-in-law, Judith Suarez of Peru and Pauline Suarez of Oglesby and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Ariano; her parents and siblings and spouses, Celestino (Angela), Albert (Wilda), Juanita, John and Frank Suarez.
