Linda M. Edenfield Norwich – Linda M. (Smith) Edenfield, 66, of Huntington Ave. died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Hartford Hospital in Hartford. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 15, 1946 to Paul and Ellen Smith. She attended local schools and graduated from the Norwich Free Academy Class of 1963. Linda was secretary for the Ledyard Police Department for thirty years. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Edenfield, her mother, Ellen Smith, her son Joseph Shahan and his wife Kim, three grandchildren, Ashley, Brian and Rebecca, three brothers, Steven and his wife Sharon, Allen and his wife Elizabeth, and Warren, four sisters, Susan, Carol and her husband, Pat, Nancy and Marilee.
