Linda Lou (Honn) McElroy, age 60, passed away at her home in Brook on Tuesday, June 29, 2010.
She was born on April 7, 1950, in Rensselaer, IN. Linda is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ernest McElroy, whom she married on June 23, 1973 in Wheatfield, IN.
Linda and Ernest enjoyed camping, cooking out and gardening. She retired from MagnaTech in Goodland where she was employed for 10 years.
Linda was also a care-giver for the elderly and had worked at George Ade Healthcare as a cook and in the laundry department.
Linda is also survived by nine children, Jr (Linda) McElroy, Mary Slater, Tina (Chris) Petty, Donald McElroy, Trina (John) Minter, Traci Miller, Terra (Bryan) Coley, Karla (Dave) Meadows and Kathy (Jody) Myers; her father, Hedy and her mother Maxine Honn and her mother, Virginia nee Henderson Garrity; 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger McElroy and great-grandson, Calvin Lance Minter.
