Linda Lee “Linn” Dreyer, age 78, passed away November 29, 2020 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. Linn was born October 5, 1942 in Jackson, MI, the daughter of Milford and Celia Ridley. She was raised in the small town of Leslie, MI and after graduation from Leslie High School. Linn continued her education with night classes while taking care of her family. In 1980, Linn and Jack moved their family to East Grand Rapids, MI here she attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI where she received her BA in Psychology with honors.
On August 3, 1963, she was united in marriage to Jack P. Dreyer. Throughout the years they resided in several different states. For many years she worked for the States of Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin as a program manager for the Area Agency on Aging. She also was the President of the Wisconsin Alliance for the Family Caregiving before she retired. In addition to her love of working with the aging, Linn had a passion for reading and delighted in all the arts. She was a talented watercolor artist and a prolific member of writing groups. She is currently a member of the First Congregational Church of Kalamazoo.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years: Jack P. Dreyer; their three children: Kathy (Dave) Vogel, Eric (Kelly) Dreyer and Kurt (Johanna) Dreyer; six grandchildren: Cameron and Hayden Dreyer, Grace and Rachel Vogel, Jack and Owen Dreyer. Linn was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother Tom Ridley.
