Linda Lee Chingman, 53, of Alexander, IL died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born January 5, 1958 in Jacksonville, IL and married Nick G. Chingman on March 6, 1987 in Las Vegas, NV. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2011.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Wright Strope of Alexander; her sister, Becky Strope of Alexander; two step sons, David Chingman (fiancé, Michelle Johnston) of Carlinville and Michael Chingman (wife, Deanna) of Las Vegas, NV; three step grandchildren, Dalton, Alma and Klayton Chingman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mrs. Chingman was a 1976 graduate of Franklin High School and was employed for the past 18 years with the Illinois Secretary of State. She enjoyed caring for her pets, crafts, rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers, and watching NASCAR events.
