Linda L Knight, 68, of Anderson, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on May 30, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois and resided in Anderson most of her life.
Linda graduated from Sullivan High School in 1963 and Indiana State University in 1969 with a B.S. and a Master’s Degree in education in 1967. She was a retired teacher having worked for the Frankfurt and Anderson School Systems.
She taught primarily first grade at Southview Elementary from 1973 until her declining health required her to retire in 2007. Linda was a member of American Federation of Teachers and Wesley Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Dr. Randall B. Gloria Melendez King of San Antonio, Texas; friends, Darlene Michael Ginder of Anderson, and Janie Don Keevin of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Byard and Lorraine Clark King.
