Linda Kay Walstrom, 61, was born in Mahnomen, Minnesota to Delmar and Olive Krebsbach on August 10, 1955. She worked very hard on the family farm getting her work ethics that was evident throughout her entire life. Linda moved to Walker, Minnesota in 1979 where she worked at Bieloh’s Family Foods as produce manager for 22 years. She also owned and operated a natural food store in walker for 7 years. She met Larry and they were married in 1986 and resided in Walker until her death.
Linda had a variety of interests. She loved flowers, working in the garden and also enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved animals, especially turtles and owls. A defining moment in Linda’s life was on April 13, 2013 when she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses along with her husband, Larry. Her bible based hope of living forever on a paradise Earth, free from sickness, death and fear helped her to face her illness with joy, courage and dignity. She shared this hope with others at every opportunity. Many commented on her joyful attitude despite her illness.
Linda was preceded in death by her father; Delmar and her brother; David. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry of 31 years, and her mother, Olive who loved her dearly. She is also survived by her brothers; Allan (Renee) Krebsbach, Kenny (Annette) Krebsbach, Wayne Krebsbach, Steven (Jeannie) Krebsbach, sisters; Joanne Schultz and Tammy (Leonard) Foss, children; Janis (Eric) Francis, Adam (Sara) Starkey, Jesse (Robin) Walstrom, Zachary (Kathi) Walstrom, grandchildren; John, Kurtis, Eva, Alexis, Phenix, Adia, Ella and Arlan. Linda is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
May the hope Linda had of living forever on a paradise earth, as Jehovah God intended, comfort all who loved her dearly.
