Linda Kay Jones, 72, of Anderson, formerly from New Castle and Muncie, Indiana, passed away on May 21, 2016 at the Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 26, 1943 in Anderson.
Linda graduated from Markleville High School and Ball State University. She retired from Zimmer, Warsaw, Indiana.
Linda had a variety of jobs after college including gas station attendant, payroll clerk for Caterpillar Corp., Peoria, IL., and machinist/toolmaker for Caterpillar Corp. and Zimmer. She was in data processing at Zimmer until retirement.
Linda is survived by her brother, Mike Jones of Anderson; niece, Laura Richardson of Ocala, FL; nephew, Brian Brown of Orlando, FL; cousins, Teresa Collett of Glendale, AZ, Jeff Jones (partner, Scott Trout) of Indianapolis, Russ (Debi) Jones of Alexandria, Cheryl Jones of Alexandria, Penny (Ed) Presely of Anderson, and Rosalie (Jones) Moyers of Indianapolis.
Also surviving are several cousins, great cousins, nieces and nephews, and two special felines, Toby and Taby. She was preceded in death by her parents, John S. and Martha E. (Prigg) Jones; and sister, Helen F. Brown.
