Upland: Linda K. Tudor, 64, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 23, 2013. She was born in Marion the daughter of the late Raymond and Freda (Brown) Brindle.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Eastbrook High School. She was best known for her faithful service as a dedicated community volunteer to the Upland Medic-8 Ambulance as an EMT for many years and serving as Chief for 18 years of her 1978-2000 time period. She retired in 2000 with a medical disability but held the position of honorary member. She was the first Upland EMT as required by new laws following the ambulance service being provided by the funeral home. Alongside her father, she mowed Jefferson Cemetery. After he passed away, she continued the service for many years. Since 2009, she was a member of the Blake Shelton fan club. She was a member of the Upland United Methodist Church and attended Upland Community Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Dori (Bill) Foster, Upland, and Darshanna Tudor, Chicago; a sister Rebecca (Glenn) Sherwood, Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Kati, Harley, and Lizzie; two nieces, Hannah, and Abigail; and a nephew, Matthew.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Rae.
