Linda Julia Cassidy, 54, of Griswold passed away in her home on May 21, 2013 after her long battle with breast cancer surrounded by her family. Linda was born in Hartford, CT on December 15, 1958. Linda and Robert Cassidy were happily married 22 years. She was the proud mother of 5 daughters; Amy Roode, Amanda Cassidy, Emily Cassidy, Lisa Cassidy and Laura Cassidy and sister, Susan Denning. Linda was blessed with her first grandchild, Jonathan Roode on Feb. 11, 2011. He gave her great joy during her illness. Linda had a career in health care. Later she was a manager at Mosaic Heath enjoyed her work but her family meant everything to her.
