Linda Jean Kuesis, age 72, of Kell, IL, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. Linda was born August 18, 1946, in Cairo, IL, the daughter of Norman A. Dailey and Jane Elwanda (Butler) Dailey.
She married Gus Kuesis in St. Petersburg, FL on October 12, 1997, and he survives her in Kell.
In addition to her husband of 20 years, she is survived by two children: Barry K. Palmer Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL, and Wendy J. Beggs and husband Terry of Dongola, IL; one step-son: Rob Stell of Anna, IL; eight grandchildren: Cody Palmer, Caleb Palmer, Macayla Palmer, Blake Beggs, Bridget Beggs, Chrissy Nance, Gyrand Stell, and Kaylee Stell; seven great-grandchildren: Bryson, Travis, Austin, Aubrey, Bella, Toby, and Alli; two brothers: Floyd Dailey and wife Ginny, Dennis Dailey and wife Barb; three sisters: Norma Marcum, Barbara Cushman and husband Brian and Cindy Dailey; many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents: Norman and Jane Dailey; step-son: Gus Stell; one grandson: Brandon Palmer and one nephew; Alfi Boxx.
Linda received a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing and was employed at St. Peters General Hospital when she retired. She worked at several hospitals over the years, her most rewarding was working in the ICU and working many years with the intellectually disabled. Linda enjoyed traveling and loved the ocean, Colorado and Pikes Peak. She collected Betty Boop memorabilia. She loved baking cookies with her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
