Linda Jo (Goosley) Mendez, 73, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Edward “Ed” J. Mendez with whom she shared over 54 years of loving marriage. Born on January 15, 1948 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabelle Arlene (Grant) Goosley.
Linda worked in accounting and accounts payable for Banks, a Day Care and Sacred Heart Hospital. She enjoyed photography, especially taking pictures of her grandchildren playing sports. Later in life, she enjoyed watching birds on her deck and baking delicious treats for her friends and family. Above all she cherished her time spent with her family and friends.
Survivors: Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ed; son, Edwardo Mendez and wife Christie of Bethlehem; daughter, Nadine Heifert and husband Keith of AZ; grandchildren, Isabella and Chase Mendez, Shawn Heifert and Tracy O’Shea; great grandchildren, Jordan and Julia Heifert and Sadie and Sophia O’Shea.
