Linda Gail Blevins Catt passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012. Linda is a beloved Mother, Sister and Aunt.
She was born on June 7, 1949 in New Castle, IN. Her parents were Robert Blevins of Somerset, KY and Helen York Blevins from Anderson, IN. She graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1967. During her time since then, she has spent countless joyful hours riding on the combine with fiance, Paul Bogard, serving the state of Indiana as an employee, and spending time with her family. Linda had a love for travel and for exploring new places. She was a single mother, who was dedicated to her family and friends.
She said that some of her greatest memories were of her time spent in Maine, raising her grandson, Daniel. Her smile will be greatly missed by her son, Derek Catt, her sisters, Darlene Blevins Layman and Sue Blevins Black, her brother, Robert Blevins and the remainder of her family. Tonight the stars shine a little bit brighter.
Our entire family would like to thank Dr. Sharief, Dr. Ross and the staff of St. John’s Cancer Center for all their support and care to Linda and to our family. “May the road rise up to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall softly upon your fields.
