Linda Gail Abney, of Agnos, Arkansas, daughter of the late Leymon Vaughn and Evelyn Bradley Vaughn, was born January 9, 1949 in Hardy, Arkansas. She died Friday, December 9, 2016 at her home in Agnos, Arkansas, at the age of 67 years and 11 months.
She was united in marriage to James Abney, January 13, 1967, in Evening Shade, Arkansas, and to this union two children were born. Linda was a homemaker and a member of the Agnos Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband James Abney of the family home; her children: Christina Hall and husband Cavin of Ash Flat, Arkansas, and Timothy L. Abney and wife Regina of Agnos; grandchildren: Brett Goodson and husband Shane of Agnos, Arkansas, Tabitha Thurman and husband Tim of Saddle, Arkansas, Lane Hall of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Kailee Abney of Agnos, Arkansas, and Payne Abney of Agnos, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Larry Hardin and wife Shirley of Culman, Alabama; one sister and brother-in-law: Charlotte Alverson and husband Daniel of Ash Flat, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
