Ms. Linda Freeman Stanley, age 72, died at her home in Gurley, Alabama on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
Born September 6, 1948, in Jackson County, Alabama, She retired from the State of Alabama ABC Board. Prior to that, she performed many roles from booking at the Madison County Sheriff Department, to Cosmetology, Caregiver, and Waitress. Linda was a loyal and active servant of her church.
Linda was a remarkable woman who loved God first, and dearly loved her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, a competitive game of Canasta, traveling, and fun sister outings. Prior to her declining health there was not many weeks she was not doing for others.
Survivors include her two sons, Joey Vinson of Gurley, and Jason (Ashley) Turney of Meridianville, 1 daughter, Nikki (Ralph) Cason, of Gurley, 9 grandchildren, one special son, Darrell Sisk, Sisters, Becky (Dairl) Deerman, Debbie Gamble, and Sherry Bradshaw. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Stanley, as well as her parents Henry A. and Mary Campbell Freeman, brother, Bobby J. Freeman.
