Linda Faye Cherry, 74, or Montgomery, passed away October 26, 2016, at UAB Hospital. She was born September 2, 1942 to O’Neil and Marjorie May in Jackson. A member of Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, she was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and she very much enjoyed golfing and bowling.
She is survived by her husband, David Cherry, Sr. of Montgomery; children, Lowery Wilson, Jeff (Anita) Wilson, both of Killen, Sherrie (Jeff) Nichols of Alabaster; step-children, David S. Cherry, Jr., George Karl (Candy) Cherry, Michael B. Cherry; brother, Charles May of Montgomery; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
