Linda Faye Brooks, age 71, of Edgewater, died Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Halifax Health Hospice, Edgewater. Born in Anderson, South Carolina to Albert Henry and Emma Blume Daniel, Linda was a phlebotomist in the Health Care industry. She was a race car driver #45 at New Smyrna Beach Speedway from 1979 to 1986, and was a big race fan.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Marvin; 2 sons, Eric Brooks, of Tampa and Robbie Mabry, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; grandsons, Dusty, Clay, and Cody; and brother, Danny (Sandra) Daniel, of Anderson, SC. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Michael.
