Ms. Linda Fay Springfield Davis departed this life on June 10, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens Georgia. Linda was the daughter of Mr. John Burner Springfield Sr. and Mrs. Agnes Galloway Springfield.
Linda attended Cummings High School here in Burlington, NC.
She is survived by a daughter, Latisha Springfield; step daughter, Sharterra Ford of Dillion, SC; two grandchildren, Tekeya Springfield Baldwin and NuQwaun Worth both of Greensboro, NC; one great granddaughter, MaLani Worth of Greensboro, NC; one step grandson, X’zayvia Goodman; 5 sisters, Sandra Bowman of Columbia Ohio, Gloria Galloway of Greensboro, NC, Peggy Wiley (Garry) of Burlington, NC, Glenda Springfield of Athens, GA, Mary Springfield of Burlington, NC and one brother, Charlie Springfield of Yanceyville, NC; foster mother, Rachel Hester, foster sister, Shelby Hester both of Mebane, NC; a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. A special cousin Tressie Springfield of Monroe GA and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother John Burner Springfield, Jr., one sister, Wanda Perminter and nephew, Travis Galloway.
