Linda Garret, 67 of Minford, Ohio passed away Nov. 24, 2022 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Nuremberg, Germany, Feb. 19, 1955, a daughter of the late Robert Fitzgerald and Evelyn Sokoloski Fitzgerald. Linda spent her life caring for her family and others, loved her dog, taking in strays, reading, crosswords, drawing, outdoors camping fishing and grandchildren.
Preceded in death besides her parents are one infant son, Warren Garrett, brother, Robert Fitzgerald Jr and step mother, Lila Fitzgerald.
Surviving are three children, Melissa (Anthony) Garrett Hughes of Lucasville, Ohio, Anthony (Nikki) Garrett of Minford, Ohio, Devon Garrett of Otway, Ohio, brother, Mike (Mary Ann) Fitzgerald of Portsmouth, Ohio, sisters, Juanita (Keith) Manning of Dayton, Ohio, Brenda (Ted) Murnahan of Portsmouth, Ohio, Michelle (Trent) Marcum of Waverly, Ohio, Gail (Bobby) Whitlow of Texas and Comellia Fitzgerald of Louisiana, grandchildren, Bradley, Dillon and Chase Garrett, Alissa Smith, Evan Garrett and Ian Garrett, great-grandchildren, Livi, Ariel, Lila, Sofia, Hailee and Hunter, special friend, Bill Garrett.
