Linda (Bresney) Ebner, 63, of Utica, passed away December 28, 2014 at her home.
Linda was born on October 3, 1951 in Streator to George and Dolores (Farkas) Bresney. She was a graduate of Streator High School. Linda married Jerry R. Ebner on February 6, 1971, at St. Stephen’s Church in Streator. She worked at Owens Illinois in Streator and later at the Village Oak House in Utica. Linda was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Utica, the Red Hat Club and the Catholic Slovak Ladies Association.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Janice McCoy, of Carlisle, AR, and Susan Angelico, of Streator, 9 nieces, including Megan Angelico, her caregiver, 8 nephews, 23 great nieces and nephews, and 1 great-great niece. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, on April 24, 2008, her parents, and a sister Karen Pollett. Pallbearers will be Mike Ebner, Bob, Brad, Brett, and Blake Angelico, and Ron Pollett.
