Linda Cordell, 66 of Flintstone, GA stepped into the loving arms of her Jesus on December 22, surrounded by love from family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Robert Cordell and sister, Rhonda Gordon of Coral Springs, FL and beloved grandchildren, Andrew and Abagail. Parents Edna & George Thrailkill and husband Barry Cordell preceded her.
Linda was always good with numbers and having received several associate degrees in accounting worked as a bank teller (where she especially enjoyed meeting and greeting her customers) and as an accounts receivable/payable clerk.
Loving school or office supplies, Linda opened a stall at the local flee market. Little ones who came to “shop” often went home with a few new pencils, notebook or special erasers, compliments of Linda’s generosity.
Linda and her best friend Vicky Jackson shared a passion of collecting Barbie dolls and buying each other matching “funny” T-shirts.
Linda was beautiful, kind, caring, compassionate, fun and fun-loving, but above all someone who truly loved others. There are no words to express how much she meant to us and how much she will be missed.
