She became a “Navy Wife”, as her husband served in WW2, and then a homemaker and a loving mother to her 4 children. Besides her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, gardening and cooking were always some of her passions. Her wonderful cooking continued throughout her whole life. In her earlier years, she also loved going to Foxwoods and was always waiting for her big pay off with her scratch tickets. Also, she felt that the wildlife around her living complex needed to be fed daily, so in her later years of life she took great enjoyment in feeding the birds, squirrels and sometimes a fox or two.
