Linda Arline Woodford, 72, of Fairmont passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015.
Arline was born May 29, 1942; the daughter of the late Morgan and Phyllis Davis.
She is survived by her husband of almost 53 years, Clarence H Woodford II of Fairmont; two sons, Clarence H Woodford III and wife Tafflon, Brian K Woodford and wife Sherry all of Fairmont; six grandchildren, Justine Pride and husband Orville, Zachery Woodford and wife Kayla, Joshua, Jordan, Nathaniel, Caleb Woodford; two great grandchildren, Thomas and Haley Pride; one sister, Doris Austin and husband Kenneth of Morgantown; sister-in-law, Wanda, and several nephews. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin James Davis and David E Davis; and one niece, Carrie Ann. Arline was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated in 1959 from Morgantown High School. She started her working career at the Book Exchange in Morgantown then worked at the Forestry Department. She later worked at T & T Pump in Fairmont as an Executive Secretary. She completed her career at Morgantown Machine and Hydraulics as an Executive Secretary. She was also a Notary Public. She was a lifelong Christian, strong in her faith, and member of the Mt. Harmony Community Church. She had many hobbies, including reading, working crossword puzzles, spending valuable time with her family and traveling.
