Linda Ann Thompson Pate, 77, of Haralson, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2022, surrounded by her family. Linda was born on October 4, 1944, to the late Howard Aubrey Thompson and Linnie Turner Thompson. Along with her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her sister, Hazel White; brother, Tony Thompson; and sister-in-law, Opal Thompson.
Linda loved to be in the kitchen whether it was cooking or baking. She loved making biscuits and anything with sugar, such as, cream cheese poundcake or her twelve-layer chocolate cake. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Alton Pate; children, Tammy (Fred) Rudbeck, Melissa (Rob) Foster, David (Claudette) Pate; grandchildren, Ansley (Taylor) Cash, Evan Rudbeck, Andrew (Mariah Ruth) Pate Private First Class; great-grandson, Fischer Cash; brother, James Thompson; special friends and cousins, Joyce Wilson and Shirley Karr; and numerous nieces and nephews.
