Linda Ann Kimbro, 74 Years, passed away at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Linda was born February 17, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa, to John and Luellen (Erickson) Hummel. She married Richard Kimbro on January 22, 1966, and they made their home in Des Moines where they raised their two children. Linda worked at Principal Financial Group for 6 years, retiring in 2001. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She centered her life around her family.
Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard Kimbro, son, Richard F. (Deb) Kimbro Jr. of Seattle, WA; two daughters, Shannon LouAnn (Ken Garland) Kimbro of Des Moines, Iowa and Lisa (Eddie) Chappa of Beeville, TX; her sister, Theresa (Fred) Redhead of Altoona, IA; and 8 grandchildren, Devon Kimbro, Cadence Kimbro, Jesse Kimbro, Cristin Hofstetter, Cameron Stubbins, Gunner Chappa, Ariel Chappa, and Blane Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Janice Bartusek and brother, John Hummel, Jr.
