HAVERHILL – Lincoln Orr Clark, age 74, of Bradford passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2022, after a period of declining health.

He was born November 1, 1947, the son of Wilber and Elizabeth (Orr) Clark. He was raised in Andover where he graduated from High School and continued on to attend Northeastern University, graduating with a degree in finance. Following college, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. Linc then joined the Andover Fire Department where he achieved the rank of Deputy Chief prior to retiring at age 67. He loved the Fire Department, and believed it to be “the best job there was!”

Throughout his life, Lincoln was an avid reader, and particularly enjoyed history. He traveled to a number of countries, and enjoyed seeing old ruins. He especially loved being a pilot and flying his plane from the Lawrence Airport. He served as President of the North Andover Hangar Association for a number of years.

Lincoln will be deeply missed by his wife, Roberta and step-son Zachary Roche. In addition, he was very close to his sister, Edith Harris and her husband David, and her extended family, as well as Roberta’s family in New York and Texas.

Linc’s family would like to thank the hospice staff at Care Dimensions and their dear friends and neighbors who provided much needed help and support.
