Lilly (Yates) Brock, 87, of Middletown, passed away on August 28, 2017. Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada; she was the daughter of the late David and Phyllis (Davies) Yates.
She is survived by her sister Joyce (Yates) Debison of Ontario, Canada. She was predeceased by three sisters; Phyllis Yates, Gail (Yates) Doucette, Barbara (Yates) Hart as well as her four brothers; David Yates, Dennis Yates, Edward Yates and Kevin Yates, all of Canada.
Lilly was married for 58 years to late husband, Richard L. Brock of Middletown; together they had four children: Joyce (Brock) Coogan (predeceased) and her surviving husband Scott of Idaho; Terry (Brock) Sheehan and her husband Thomas of Portland; Tracy (Brock) Laroche and her husband Jean of Middletown; and Richard Y. Brock and his wife Rachel of Middletown. She leaves behind nine beloved grandchildren – Jared and Bethany Coogan; Emily (Sheehan) Schoeler and Meagin Sheehan; Claire and Mason Laroche; Gregory, Daniel, and Abigail Brock.
She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. Lilly was a devoted wife and mother.
