Mrs. Lillie Ree Scott A.K.A Grandma Lillie was born on January 12, 1912 in a small community west of Arkadelphia, AR called Shady Grove to the union of Everett Moss and Lula Murphy Moss.
She joined Shady Grove A.M.E. at a early age, as then she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.
Mrs. Scott married Elmore Scott on November 27, 1931 and moved to Richmond Hill. To this union 2 sons was born, Virgile Lee Scott (Pauline Scott) of Arkadelphia, AR and Edgar Lee Scott (Hattie Babbs) of Hot Springs, AR.
Mrs. Scott joined Richmond Hill A.M.E. where she served faithfully for many years.
Mrs. Scott served as a home maker and faithfully took care of others throughout the community as well as her own family members. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, and was eagerly excited when she had a new addition (grandchild) she strived to make each grandchild a quilt.
Mrs. Scott has touched many lives in a positive way, if you were sick or in distress she would go to their aid.
She quietly departed this life on Thursday July 4, 2013 at Courtyard Gardens Rehabilitation. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmore Scott and her two sons Edgar Lee Scott and Virgle Lee Scott, two sisters Minnie Moss Davis and Elease Moss Griffin, and two brothers Virgle Moss and Earnest Moss.
She leaves to Cherish her memory 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren, a devoted niece Ludeila Benson of Hot Springs, AR, a nephew Ricky Griffin of California and a host of other relatives and friends.
