Lillie Ann Poindexter, better known as Ann, was born at home in Lee County in Deanville, Texas on June 29, 1920 and died in Boerne on December 26, 2004 at the age of 84 years and six months. Ann”s parents were James and Viola Cowan Flippin. She was the eldest of 13 children born to James Flippin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Paul Poindexter, sons Tommy, Billy and Jimmy and one granddaughter Patricia Lynn Poindexter. She is survived by two sons Eddie and his wife Naomi of Spring Branch, Texas and John Poindexter and his wife Valerie of Boerne, also seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
