Mrs. Lillie Pearl Wetzel Hamrick, age 75, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.

Lillie was born on February 1, 1939 in Mount Clare a daughter of the late David and Mary Palmer Wetzel. She was a homemaker who loved Nascar and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and allowed her grandkids to be her life. She was a member of Reynoldsville Baptist Church, Past President of American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post #13; Past Senior Regent Women of the Moose #482; member of the Lucinda Rose Auxiliary VFW post #573; and a member of the Harrison County Senior Citizens Center.

She was married to the love of her life, Bassel “Bud” Hamrick, Sr. on October 16, 1961 who still survives; 3 children, Edward and Sandy Wickenhofer, of NC, Belinda Hamrick, and Bassel, Jr. and Debbie Hamrick, all of Clarksburg; 7 grandchildren, Nicole Wickenhofer, Angela and Skip Hogan, Meri Wickenhofer, Danielle Fragman, Camden Fragman, Bassel E. “Gene” Hamrick, III, and Rachel Hamrick; 2 great-grandchildren, McKenzee and Jayden Hogan; sister, Margaret Pokrazywa; brother, David and Dorothy Wetzel; several nieces and nephews also survive.
