She passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at her home.
Lillian was born on September 23, 1923 in Clarkson, Nebraska to Jerry and Bessie Buresh. She was united in marriage to Rudy Spulak and they resided south of Battle Creek where they farmed. Seven children were born Laverna, Dorothy, Lillian, Virginia, Connie, Rudy and Roger. Her husband Rudy passed away in 1957. Lillian continued to raise her kids on the farm, raising hogs and cattle, milking cows and always had her chickens. She loved to sew, making her childrens clothes, curtains and mending, mending, mending. Later in life, she (and her chickens) moved closer to Battle Creek on an acreage.
She is survived by her children Dorothy ( Jim) Kniseley of Hixton, Wisconsin, Lillian (Louis) Bierman of Battle Creek, Virginia Spulak of Martensburg, Connie (Tom) Koenig of Elwood, Rudy (Irene) Spulak of Tilden, Roger (Janet) Spulak of Battle Creek; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and a sister Mildred Bonner of Norfolk.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rudy, two daughters Laverna and Pammy; granddaughters Lori Hale and Theresa Still and brothers Jerome, Bobby, and Milo.
