Lillian S. Bayne, 86, of Bristol, widow of Walter Bayne, died Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Ingraham Manor. Lillian was born March 31, 1921, in New Britain, a daughter of the late Leigh and Leah (Porter) Stewart.
Lillian’s main vocation in life was that of wife and mother, and she excelled at both endeavors. She was the ideal of motherhood, and her family was very fortunate to have her with us for all these years. To the very end, she was a sweet, loving and compassionate lady. She will be loved and missed dearly, and always in our hearts.
She is survived by 5 sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Phyllis Delfino of Bristol, Oronzo and Colleen Delfino of Southington, Leigh and Donna Bayne of Florida, Robert Bayne of California, and William and Dolores Bayne of Bristol, 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Agnes and Donald Spigarolo of Fairfield, Beverly Kellum of California, and Grace and Thomas Kelly of Bristol, 26 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Jean Curti, and Nancy Meeker, a son, James Bayne, and a sister, Dorothy Opheim.
