Lillian P. Thompson, age 79, wife of the late Ronald Thompson and longtime Oxford resident, entered into eternal rest on November 7th.  At the time of Lillian’s passing, she was a resident of The Watermark in Southbury. 

Lillian was born on August 16, 1942 to Charles and Elsie Billman Pearson.  She grew up in Ansonia and graduated from Ansonia High School.  Lillian obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Southern CT State University and a Master’s Degree from Sacred Heart University.  She worked as a public school teacher for many years before transitioning into administration.  Upon retirement, Lillian was an administrator at City Hill School in Naugatuck. Throughout her years in public education, Lillian developed many close friendships with co-workers.   

Lillian is survived by her sister, Elsie Hall of State College, PA, daughter-in-law Cheryl Thompson of Maple Falls, Washington, brother-in-law Peter Thompson and his wife Kay Thompson of Waterbury, CT and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Kurt Thompson.
