Lillian “Miki” Galloway died on Monday, July 5, 2021 was born in Mott, North Dakota, 1948 to Josephine Charging Eagle and Charles Byington. Denver has been her home since 1969. Working to support her family, she retired from Xerox in 2013. She enjoyed reading and was always a brilliant strategist who loved scrabble and the Judge Judy show.
She is survived by her sister Laura Mae “Sister Girl” Stempson; daughters, Colette (Ellis) Galloway, Antoinette Galloway, Devola Galloway; sons Alexius (Angie) Galloway and James Galloway, Jr.; grand children, Christopher, Tajha, Courtney, Sonja, Alexander, Shapri, Akir, Jazmyn, Dakota, Giovanni, Gianna, Savannah, Quinn, Alyssa, Justine, Jason, and Reena; great-grand children Mason, Aiyanna, Naat’aanii, Kinyaa’aanii; and beloved friend Mrs. Rosalind Jutting (Jacksonville, FL); and her beloved chihuahua, “Lucy”.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Byington; mother, Josephine Charging Eagle; brothers Richard “Tucker”, Steven “Seven”, Francis “Smokie”, and Leonard “Blackie” Byington, Sr.
