Lillian Marie Forstrom Orelup
Lillian entered eternal rest on January 11, 2022 at Covenant Living of Cromwell, Connecticut. Lil passed at the age of 102. Born in Fairfield, Connecticut on December 26,1919 to Eric Carl Forstrom and Anna Ernberg. The oldest of five children, Lil had four younger brothers: Paul, George, Stanley and Robert.
She was a devoted wife to her husband Milton Orelup, whom she married in 1946. Lillian was a fabulous mother to her three boys, Gary Lansing Orelup of Katonah, New York, John (Jack) Sperry Orelup (and his spouse WindhuSupriyono) of San Antonio Texas, and Grant Eric Orelup of Easton Connecticut. Lil was a grandmother to Christopher Orelup of New Canaan Connecticut and great-grandmother to Christopher’s son Timothy.
Lillian was loved by her family and many friends. She enjoyed cooking, painting and lively conversation.
In her later years she traveled, with trips to Australia, Bali Indonesia, Scotland and England.
She will forever be missed.
