Lillian Hills (Lee) Stites passed away November 20, 2010 of natural causes at 88 years of age. She was born August 31, 1922 in Twin Falls, ID to Fred A. and Glada B. Hills, the fourth of 10 children, being raised on the family farm. After her post high school education she lived approximately 11 years in California. She married Norris Gill and lived in San Diego. Later, she met and married Eugene Lee. They moved to Idaho in 1953 where she lived out her life. She was a homemaker until 1964 when she was divorced and went back into the workforce. She worked for R &S Beauty Supply which later became known as Western Beauty Supply. In 1969, she was married briefly to Jack Stites.
Lillian was very intelligent, witty and funny. She did an outstanding job of raising five children alone; loved her grandkids and enjoyed family night with pizza and beer. She also enjoyed movies, music, bowling and dancing. Lillian cared about life and believed in God and angels.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters and two brothers. She is survived by daughters, Cheryl Jarvis of Nampa, ID and Jenifer Nelson of Iowa; sons, Mark Lee (Lori); Matthew Lee (Tiffany) and Martin Lee all of Boise, ID; brothers, Loyd Hills (Willa) of Casper, WY, and Kenneth Hills (Marilyn) of Nampa, ID; and several nephews and nieces as well as several grandchildren.
