Lillian “Lily” Shorty Bourgeault, 98 of Centralia, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at Centralia Fireside House.
She was born January 1, 1919 in Boston, Massachusetts, daughter of Joseph Koury and Lillian (Aaron) Koury. She married Harvey Bourgeault on August 19, 1940 in Boston, Massachusetts and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1961.
She is survived by a daughter, Claudette Darlene Cunningham and husband Michael of Centralia; a grandson: Jason Haley of California; two great-grandchildren: Lana Haley of California and Leah Enriquez and husband Justin of Centralia; a great great-grandaughter Lyla Enriquez; a cousin, Selina Clements of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a granddaughter, Amparo Haley.
Lily worked as a waitress, x-ray technician and a movie extra. She was an extra in many movies. She enjoyed walking and visiting in shops in California. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, friends and eclectic people.
