It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lillian Mildred (Kouneski) Faggio, on January 31, 2022. She devoted her life to her family and was a wonderful friend to so many.

Born on Feburary 8, 1924 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Veronica M. and Dominick G. Kouneski. She retired from the Social Security Administration after 31 years of service as a Data Review Technician.  Lillian was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, and the Ladies of Sodality at Christ the King Catholic Church (formerly Holy Trinity). Lillian enjoyed sharing her joy for life with family and friends by way of her love for music, and dancing. Fond memories live in the hearts of those that had the chance to hear her play the accordion, and the keyboard. Lillian also shared a love for crafting which included ceramics and needlepoint.

Lillian was predeceased by her devoted husband Joseph J. Faggio and her many siblings. She is survived by her loving children, Joseph A. Faggio of Severn, and Anthony J.M. Faggio (Angela) of Greensboro, MD; her cherished grandchildren, Michael Faggio of Manitowoc, WI,  and Rebecca Faggio of Denton; her beloved great-granddaughter, Mariah Sorrell; and her dear sister, Amelia Macabee.
