Lillian Jeanette “Jenny” Ward, age 85, a native of Phil Campbell, AL and resident of Mobile the past 66 years, died on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013 in a local hospital. She was known as “Maw Maw” by everyone she knew. Her family and friends will miss her wonderful sense of humor, her devotion to those she loved and her unending zest for life. She is preceeded in death by her husband, James Hobert Ward, her parents, Burleigh and Clois Jackson, seven siblings and a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Ward. She is survived by two sons, James Larry (Rachel) Ward, Sr. and Wallace Bradley Ward; one sister, Linda(Jerry) Sexton; five grandchildren, Kimberly (Tony) Wiggins, Ginger (Dean) Balthaser, Jennifer (Matt) Chisholm, James (Brandy) Ward, Jr. and Dustin (Brandi) Ward; nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
