Lillian Giafaglione Roppolo entered into eternal life on November 14, 2014 at the age of 90, due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was a long time resident of Lakeview until Katrina, then resided in Kenner. She was born November 18, 1923 in New Orleans to the late Sam and Rose Giacone Giafaglione of Italy. She was the beloved wife of the late Julius A. Roppolo, Sr.
Her spirit is carried on by her three children, Vincent Roppolo (Wendy), Julius (Rip) Roppolo, Jr. and Rose Roppolo Pecoul, her three grandchildren, Brandie Pecoul, Stacey Roppolo Dauzat (Mark), and Jimmy Pecoul III, and by her two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Mallory Dauzat.
Lillian’s generous and kind spirit will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
