Lillian Dutcher, age 89, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008. Born in Vermillion, SD, on Oct. 15, 1919, she was the daughter of Martin De Buhr and Oline Opland De Buhr. A very active member of St. John Lutheran Church, she had brought joy to many people. Lillian had been a resident of Boerne for 12 years, often volunteering at Currington Elmentary School. She had retired from Safeway after more than 30 years with the company. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lester, in 1968, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Mrs. Dutcher is survived by sons, Jake Dutcher and his wife, Suzanne; Edward Dutcher and his wife, Celia; and Bud Dutcher and his wife, Joan; Daughter, Mary Madsen; her beloved son” in” law, Tom Madsen; 8 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Dorothea Paterson and her husband, Bob; and Brother – in ” law, Bill Little.
