Lillian Durand 96, formerly of Woonsocket, died Tuesday at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Adrien E. Durand. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Amanda (Berard) Gagne. Lillian worked as a seamstress at St. Antoine Residence for several years. She was a pianist and a member of the Beethoven Club. She graduated from Le College St. Maurice in Ste. Hyacinthe, PQ Canada.
Lillian is survived by two sons, Paul Durand and his companion Thea Vieria, of Woonsocket, and Denis Durand and his wife Laurie Palmer of Hudson, NH; a daughter Simone Pasquariello and her husband Paul of Tiverton; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Jean-Guy Durand, and sister of the late Therese Berard.
