Lillian Doris Morgan Jackson on Thursday morning at 6:45 after 90 wonderful years of life, peacefully walked through heaven’s gates to greet her Lord and Savior. Doris passed into heaven peacefully from her home surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Fred Jackson; sisters: Eulice McMichael, Grace Holloway, Edna Earle Whatley; brothers: Harold Morgan and Barney Morgan. She is survived by her children Carey and Suzi Jackson, Craig and Alice Jackson, Todd and Lisa Jackson, Karen and Steve Barker, and Kyle and Heidi Jackson; grandchildren: Jessica Sandlin (Clif), Rachel Jackson, Jarred Jackson (Haley), Hayden Jackson, Kendall Jackson, Cade Barker, Conner Jackson and Lilli Glen Barker. Great-grandchildren include Deacon Sandlin and Collins Jackson. She was a charter member of Royal Baptist Church.
