Lila Mae Strickland Murray, age 94, passed away Tuesday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Evander and Ludie Thomas Strickland, the wife of the late Claude W. Murray and mother of the late Jimmy Ray Murray. She was a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church.
