Lila Rae Miller, 79, passed away on Saturday, June 16,2013. God called her home and she is in the presence of the Lord JESUS CHRIST. Lila was born in Washington, D.C. to Ralph and Lila Burton on December 16, 1933. She married S/Sgt Edward Miller February 7, 1953. As an Air Force wife, she made a new home every 2 1/2 years, through out the States and Germany, and Alaska. She kept our son and home going while her husband was on temporary duty other places. After her husband retirement from the Air Force, they settled in Bellevue, Nebraska for 29 years. Lila was active in civil affairs, President of the PTA for many years and helped to elect city officials. She and her husband came to Cocoa Beach July, 1966.
Lila is survived by her husband, Edward; son, Paul Sr., Grandson Paul Jr., great grandson Preston, Brother in-law and sister in-law Wayne and Paula Miller of Boynton Beach, Fl.,sister-in-laws Charlotte Altland, Dorothy Hawkins and Gloria Flaharty of York, Pa.
