Mrs. Lila Flowers Barrett, age 71, of Newnan passed away Monday, April 26, 2021.
Mrs. Barrett was born in Albany, GA on July 24, 1949, to the late Edgar L. Flowers and Carolyn Hatcher Flowers. She was a dedicated nurse for 42 years in Sylvester, Albany, and Newnan, always giving far more than the job required. She was a selfless and generous soul who lived her life doing for others. There are so many people whose lives she has touched. Every intention, every step that she took was with someone else’s well-being in mind. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Neal Barrett; children, Amy (Josh) Bowden and Jennifer (Anthony) Charaf; grandchildren, Mackenzie Jolley, Nora Charaf, and Barrett Charaf; and a brother, Earl (Denise) Flowers.
