Johnson, Lila Ann of Comstock Lila passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born October 23, 1936 in Creighton, PA the daughter of Harold and Ida Duncan DeWalt. Lila was a longtime resident of the Kalamazoo area and had been employed for 28 years with Meijer, Inc. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed playing bingo and loved dancing. Family was the most important part of her life and loved spending quality time with her family. On October 23, 1965 she was united in marriage to Vern Johnson who preceded her in death on January 31, 2004. She was also preceded by an infant son Harold James Johnson; sisters Alice Wiesenbaugh and Jean Whitthuhn.
Surviving are three daughters, Connie Rick Grogg, Luan Johnson Matt Seiferlein and Robin Rob Fekken; eleven grandchildren, Nitasha Anthony Dominowski, Danielle Grogg Keith Warzak, Ryan Grogg, Zachary Theodore, Courtney Theodore, Matty Seiferlein, Mason Seiferlein, Paige Fekken, Michael Connelly, Dylan Connelly, Katie Fekken; six great-grandchildren, Carter Dominowski, Hailee Themins, Deagan Dominowski, Kaden Warzak, Wyatt Dominowski, Liam Warzak; a brother, Harold Wanda DeWalt; nieces and nephews.
