KRAUTMANIS, Liesma passed away Monday, June 9, 2014, in Kalamazoo. Lima was born March 24, 1929, in Gulbene, Latvia, the daughter of the late Peteris and Pauline Grinvalds Mikass, and lived in Kalamazoo since 1951.
She was a member of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran United Church of Kalamazoo, the Kalamazoo Latvian Association, and was a retired laboratory technician.
On December 24, 1951, she married Gunars Krautmanis, who preceded her in death on February 5, 1988.
Liesma is survived by her sons, Modris Metra Krautmanis and Agris Marianne Krautmanis; her grandchildren, Lia Krautmanis, Andra Krautmanis, Lara Krautmanis, Erik Krautmanis, and Kristina Krautmanis.
